Because of the Covid crisis, we have postponed our appointment in Marseille in June. Today we have started the first of our remote plenary meetings.
We welcomed two new faces in the project, Shreya and Joan, PhD students. We had three nice presentations from Joan, Yohan and Alejandro, available on the project drop-box folder.
Hopefully one day we will share sugars in other maner than in scintific slides ;).
We had several points of discussion, notably on the problems of transposing the experimental UV flux to interstellar conditions. There are possible points of convergence between Joan's predictions on the kinetics of COM formation and laboratory experiments (fragmentation favoured by low T) and on the relative non-reactivity of CH3O° whose 'observed absence' in the Marseille experiments could be linked.
